Technical Support – Service Coordinator

MPD Greece is the exclusive distributor of Rolls Royce Power Systems and MTU diesel engines in Greece. The company specializes in all mechanical and electronic works related to MTU engines, the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and continuous training of its highly esteemed employees. MPD Greece is based in Koropi, facilitating a fully equipped 3,000 square meters workshop, offices, and logistics center. Due to its continued successful operation, MPD Greece is expanding its dynamic team.

Role Description

Technical Support team belongs to the core of our technical department and reports directly to the technical manager. It is the main hub of communication between the different departments (sales, order handling, etc.) and the technical department. Aim of the team is to provide support to the various technical requests and to coordinate the incoming service requests.

Responsibilities

To provide clarifications in all technical matters both within the company and towards customers
To provide the necessary information for the preparation of the service quotes
The preparation, co-ordination and follow up of the incoming service requests
Authoring the technical reports at the end of each service job

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge ofMicrosoftOffice (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Fluency in English

Structured, self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience from similar jobs will be considered a merit
Technical experience in diesel engines and/or gensets will be considered an important merit
